when we were all small children we heard the faintest whisper to travel to the tiny fishing village of Vancouver, as we aged the whisper became louder and louder, until it was all we could do to resist, so we slowly gravitated to what is now Motorama, 1 by 1 strange people slowly join the freight train like army, it is said that one day the cry will go around - "motorama!"
Hailing from the depths of East Vancouver, Witchy Sister is a 5 piece Rock n Roll band, brewing a crazy concaution of Sex, Drugs and RnR.
The BLUE LINE DUO consists of two seasoned pro's who were lucky enough to connect on every level and come up with a highly entertaining act. Featuring local hero Gary Gilbert a.k.a. Dr. Fun of "Painkiller" fame, on vocals, guitar, harp and saxazoo and the versatile Reverend Christopher Jordan Knox on bass and vocals. Both have been involved in numerous musical projects for many years. There is a thin blue line that runs through their set list, but besides the old time acoustic blues they also love western swing, gypsy jazz, newgrass and classic folk songs from yesteryear.

The Gravel-Aires from Vancouver Canada provide an evening of original Canadian Roots Music.
The Gravel-Aires are a duet; Mark Branscombe, singer/songwriter guitarist and harmonica player and Michael Mahoney, guitarist/singer/dobro & mandolin player.
The Gravel-Aires play contemporary Acoustic Roots, North-Americana, Country and Blues music, currently performing in Vancouver area pubs, clubs and cafes. The Gravel-Aires released their first album of original music “National Avenue” in spring of 2018.
About the Gravel-Aires:
~ Mark Branscombe - Roots guy, Indie guy, Pop guy, Blues guy, Country guy, working guy from the eastside of Vancouver Canada. Since 1978 a guitarist singer and songwriter with Mud Bay, a Vancouver blues rock band; crossing paths and opening shows for Stevie Ray Vaughn, James Cotton, James Hunter, Long John Baldry as well as Canadian bluesmen Jim Byrnes, Dutch Mason and Big Dave McClean. https://mudbayblues.com/wp/
~ Michael Mahoney - Guitars, mandolins, dobros: anything with strings.
Mike draws from a wide spectrum of musical interests, including Appalachian Bluegrass, Nashville and outlaw country, Delta blues, rock'n roll, R&B, punk rock and contemporary alternative rock and Americana. Mike is also an abstract painter and an avid reader of history books.
For 40 years (and counting) Mud Bay has been electrifying audiences with their high-intensity brand of original Roots & Blues music. Weathering more than a few storms along the way, they have been hailed as true Soul Survivors--“The Band That Won't Go Away”--much to the delight of music lovers around the world.
The five-piece band features four songwriters, three of whom are lead vocalists. Underlying this diversity is a remarkable consistency, the result of a shared vision refined over many years; distinct as the individual contributions may be, it all comes out sounding like Mud Bay.
Strong vocals and rhythmic elements reflect a wide range of influences—classic Chicago Blues, Country, Cajun, Rock, Soul—all finding common ground inside well-crafted, inventive songs.
Unconventional and uncompromising, Mud Bay has always taken the road less traveled, favouring innovation over imitation. Their dedication to exploring and enriching the Roots idiom has never wavered. And with four decades of dues paid, they have earned respect and praise from such legendary performers as James Cotton (“Just like playing with family”) and Stevie Ray Vaughn (“Mud Bay..?... More fun!”)
Mud Bay's fourth album, Colebrook Road, received national airplay on CBC’s Saturday Night Blues and Stingray Music, on CFRO, CITR and LG104 and Roundhouse Radio locally, on internet radio in Europe, Canada and the US, and on community and university radio across Canada and around the world.
In 2018 Mud Bay celebrates 40 years of music making with their 5th independent release “Mud Bay - Live at Lorenzo’s” and will begin recording a new album of all original Mud Bay Music.
Rock, Roots and Blues since 1978 and still going strong.
